2009 Oklahoma Federation of Young Republicans State Convention
It is my pleasure to announce that the 2009 Oklahoma Federation of Young Republicans (OFYR) State Convention will be called to order on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Character First Building, 520 W. Main St., in Oklahoma City.
This registration packet (Click here to download) contains the requisite forms you need to submit in order to participate as a voting Delegate (see Page 2 of registration packet). Oklahoma resident Republicans between the ages of 18 and 40 may register to attend the convention and participate as a voting Delegate. Among the items of business to be acted upon at the convention are the amending of the OFYR Constitution and By-laws (see Page 4 of registration packet), and the election of OFYR Executive Board members (see Page 4 of registration packet). Other actions will be taken as well. More information on the convention agenda and programming will be made available soon.
In the meantime, please plan to attend what will surely be an exciting and productive convention that will enable OFYR to be a significant political force in our state as we strive to elect Republicans on all levels in the 2010 Election Cycle. Take ownership of your state Young Republicans organization. Serve on a convention committee (see Page 3 of this packet). Come have a seat at the decision-making table.
